Morning departure from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport and arrival in Cairo at 09:00. After being picked up from the airport, our first acquaintance with this mysterious metropolis, which spreads around the banks of the Nile, begins immediately. Our first stop is the famous Citadel of Cairo (Citadel of Saladin), with the impressive Mosque of Muhammad Ali dominating the horizon. One of the most important architectural achievements of the city, the mosque is inspired by the Ottoman tradition and offers panoramic views of the city.
Then, we are transferred to Coptic Cairo, the historic Christian center of the city. We visit the Church of St. George, one of the most important holy sites of the Copts, as well as the famous Hanging Church, built over the old gate of the Roman Fortress of Babylon.
At noon, arrival and check-in at our hotel, the luxurious Al Masa Hotel Nasr City 5*.

In the afternoon, the ultimate Egyptian experience awaits us: a cruise on the Nile in a 5* floating restaurant, with a rich open buffet dinner and an oriental music and dance program, in a magical evening under the lights of Cairo.

After breakfast, we set off on an exciting full-day tour, with the first stop being the Grand Egyptian Museum. The new jewel of Egypt is located next to the Pyramids and hosts thousands of masterpieces, including the complete collection of Tutankhamun. Its impressive design and state-of-the-art exhibits offer an immersive experience.
Then, we head to the Giza Necropolis, to see up close the legendary Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Mykerinos, unique monuments of antiquity that take your breath away with their volume and geometry. Next to them, dominates the Great Sphinx, the mysterious lion with a human face. Those who wish can enjoy a traditional camel ride in the desert, with the pyramids in the background.

Our day ends with a visit to the oriental bazaar Khan El Khalil, a labyrinth of colors, aromas and small treasures.

After breakfast, we depart for the seaside Alexandria, the city of Alexander the Great and a cultural crossroads of East and West.
We begin our tour with a visit to the modern Library of Alexandria, a stunning architectural site that pays tribute to the ancient Library – a beacon of knowledge of antiquity.

Then, we visit the Greek Patriarchate and the house of Cavafy, where the great poet lived and was inspired.

After a delightful meal in a traditional restaurant overlooking the sea, we end up at the Qaitbay Fortress, built on the site of the historic Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world.
We return to Cairo with our luggage full of images and history.

The day begins with breakfast and the opportunity to enjoy the hotel's facilities at leisure or, for those who wish, an optional excursion to Saqqara and Memphis, where the oldest pyramids in Egypt are located, such as the Pyramid of Djoser. Alternatively, an ATV ride in the desert can be chosen for the more adventurous.

Also of interest is a visit to the New National Museum of Egyptian Culture, with the famous royal mummies.

After our breakfast, you have time for the last shopping or to visit one of Cairo's modern shopping centers (malls), such as City Stars or Mall of Egypt. For those seeking relaxation, it is recommended to enjoy a coffee with a view of the Nile or to take advantage of the hotel's wellness facilities.
Late afternoon, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Athens (departure 20:50 – arrival 23:00), with luggage full of experiences and memories from the heart of ancient civilization.
